Woman Raised $15,000 To Get Surgery For Extra Strong Glued Hair

I know you’re reading this to reconfirm the title you just read, YES, an American woman used EXTRA STRONG glue to style her hair and left it at the same position for a WHOLE MONTH! She raised more than $15,000 on GoFundMe to get a surgery to remove the “Gorilla Glue” off her head!

She posted a video on TikTok last week to explain about the “Gorilla Glue” incident, using it to style her hair because her regular product ran out. Is she for real?

“Bad bad bad idea.” Tessica Brown said on the verge of tears. Why did she think it was a good idea in the first place?

Brown said she tried different types of lotions, shampoos, and coconut oil to remove the glue, but it deemed unsuccessful. Her story went viral on social media, many tried to give solutions to help her with the hair situation, even Beyonce’s hair stylist Neal Farinah gave some advice. Big names like Chance The Rapper even offered online support to Tessica Brown.

She went to the hospital last weekend in hopes to get help, but it was unsuccessful. TMZ reported that she was finally able to cut off her ponytail but there were still glue on her scalp that is already hardened. A source mentioned that Los Angeles plastic surgeon Michael Obeng offered to help her out, but we don’t know if any advances were made after that.
