Virtual Women Career Fair To Connect Female Jobseekers With Potential Employers

Malaysian Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and the Department of Women Development developed a partnership with TalentCorp to organize an online Women Career Fair, in hopes to connect female jobseekers with potential employers through workshops on marketability, soft, and professional skills.

This career fair is in conjunction with the 2021 International Women’s Day celebration, which goes under the theme ‘Wanita Bangkit Mendepani Cabaran’ (Women Rise Above Challenges). According to a statement, 100 professional job offers will be made by employers from the professional and business service sector, like PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia, Bake Huges, and Hays Consulting.

The virtual Women Career fair will help provide employment opportunities to women within targeted groups like the B40, so that they can earn a fixed income to improve their standard of living. The career carnival is scheduled to begin 9 and 10 March!
