Unemployed Man Arrested For Breaking 18 Car Windows For Fun

An unemployed man was arrested in Port Dickson on Sunday after police identified him as the culprit who has been smashing random car windows around the housing areas in Port Dickson, Lukut and Teluk Kamang.

The police have received over 18 reports in the past week regarding incidents of breaking car windows using bricks. The initial investigation found that the 24-year-old suspect committed the crime alone by using bricks collected by the roadside to break the car windows.

The suspect is believed to have broken the car windows while riding on a motorbike. It was revealed that he has tested negative for drugs but holds a previous criminal record related to theft.

For now, the suspect will be on remand until next Wednesday to assist investigation while the case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code. If found guilty, he could be sentenced up to 5 years imprisonment, fined or both, all because of a strange hobby.
