Twitter Is Testing Playback Speed For Videos And Voice Notes On Android And Web Browsers

Twitter is looking to roll out an update that includes playback speed for videos and voice notes. Android users and those who are using Twitter on web browsers may be able to see different options available on the platform.

According to Twitter Support, the platform’s option for playback speed sits at the top right of videos, which can be accessed by clicking on the settings icon. The video speed can be adjusted down to 0.25x or sped up to 2x.

The feature is currently still in test stages, so it won’t be available for all Twitter users yet, especially those using iPhones and iPad users. On a side note, Twitter is also looking to test run a downvote button, which will be found on replies and not posts themselves.
