Things I Wish I Knew In My Early 20s

Being in the late 20s, we’ll start to realize things we could’ve done better or differently when we were younger. Sometimes we look back and wish we could tell our younger selves what we’ve learned now that age has caught up to us.
I wish I knew that…
Some friends were just there for the good times and not for the bad. We often associate hanging out with certain people for long periods of time as being close friends, but little did you know friendship was not just built on the duration but also the tough times that you both ride through together.

Just like how you are growing old, your parents are growing old with you. The world does not only revolve around you, so check in with your parents as much as you can. They have sacrificed so much in order for you to have the life you currently have, so taking some time off for them is just a small fraction of what you can do for them.
