The U.S. Finally Open Its Borders To Fully Vaccinated Visitors After Closing For Nearly 20 Months

Due to the long and still ongoing pandemic, people were deprived of travelling for almost 2 years. Thankfully, more countries are reopening their borders to international visitors who have completed their vaccination!

The United States of America announced that it has opened its borders to international travellers after closing its doors for almost 20 months. According to BFM News, Malaysian tourists can show their proof of vaccination via the MySejahtera app and will not need to quarantine when entering the country.

However, tourists will need to be tested negative for Covid-19 at least 3 days prior to their departure. As for children and teens under 18, they are exempted from the vaccination requirement.

According to World of Buzz, the approved vaccines for tourists include, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac.
