The Queen Responds To Explosive Racism Claims By Harry And Meghan

After Oprah Winfrey’s interviewed Harry and Meghan, the world is torn between the royal family and the couple. As expected, news reached Queen Elizabeth II, which led her to respond on the racism claims that were mentioned by Harry and Meghan about royal life.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” the Queen said in a statement.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”

All eyes on Buckingham Palace as they are pressured to respond to the claims made in the interview that was first broadcasted on Sunday. There were split reactions between people on social media, some been utterly disgusted by Meghan and Harry, while some are extremely supportive of the couple coming out and exposing the toxic royal life.

In the interview, Meghan explained how she constantly had suicidal thoughts and never had any support from the royal family, which had Oprah left speechless. She also said how their son Archie’s skin colour had been discussed, “In those months when I was pregnant … we have in tandem the conversation of ‘you won’t be given security,’ ‘not going to be given a title’, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

There was a whole list of things discussed in the interview but the one that caught everyone’s attention was when Oprah asked Meghan if she was being “silent or had been silenced”. Meghan replied with, “the latter”.

This news could be pretty damaging as the monarch is head of the Commonwealth. What do you think? Do you support Harry and Meghan, or the royal family?
