The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It, First Trailer To Be Released Tomorrow

I for one don’t watch much horror films to begin with, but for some reason I surprise myself by picking up the Conjuring franchise films. It scares me more that some of the events happening in these stories are actually following real-life events. Horror fans will definitely be thrilled to hear that James Wan’s “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” will officially release its first trailer tomorrow!

News spread like wild fire when John Squires of Bloody Disgusting received a promo package for the new film, and shared it on his Twitter account. The note stated the time and date that the trailer will be dropped, which is 9am ET on 22 April. Conjuring 3 will be premiered on while the film itself will be on HBO and theatres on 4 June 2021.

Just got a promo package for #TheConjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It in the mail, which seems to indicate we're getting the trailer at 9am ET on 4/22… — John Squires (@FreddyInSpace) April 21, 2021

According to Screen Rant, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has been in the works since 2017 while James Wan detailed the plot in 2018, stating that it will depict “the first time in America’s history where the defendant used possessions as a reason, as an excuse [for murder].”

The new Conjuring film follows the murder trial of Arne Johnson, who killed his landlord in 1981. After his arrest, Johnson went on to become the first person in American history to claim demonic possession as a defense, hence why the title was named “The Devil Made Me Do It”.
