Taylor Swift Is Re-Recording Her ‘Red’ Album, And Fans Are Worried For Jake Gyllenhaal

Following her re-release of the Fearless album, American singer Taylor Swift has announced that the next album she will be re-recording for release is the Red album, which is rumoured to be heavily inspired by her relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal in 2010.

In a tweet on Friday, Swift announced that the re-recorded version of Red, which is set to be released on November 19, will even include a 10-minute track. Though Swift never specified which track that is, many fans are guessing it to be an extended version of All Too Well, a critically acclaimed heartbreak anthem that’s speculated to be about Gyllenhaal.

The next album that I’ll be releasing is my version of Red, which will be out on November 19. This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red. And hey, one of them is even ten minutes long🧣 — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) June 18, 2021

Naturally, the news has left fans beyond excited but many of them are also taking this opportunity to poke fun at Gyllenhaal. Considering majority of the songs in the album are about the devastating pains of heartbreak and breakups, fans have joked that Gyllenhaal should start preparing himself for all the teasing he’s about to endure from this re-release.

Now what’s a funny situation without the hilarious tweets, right? One Twitter user even jokingly wrote that Gyllenhaal has entered the Witness Protection Program after Swift’s announcement. Here are some of the best tweets about the situation, cue the memes!
