Taylor Swift Fires Back At Netflix For Misogynistic Joke

Taylor Swift was pretty displeased with Netflix’s ‘Ginny & Georgia’ joke that appeared on the TV series’ season finale episode. The scene showed the main character, Ginny Miller and her mother Georgia arguing about relationships. Georgia asked Ginny if she’s broken up with her boyfriend, and Ginny replied with “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”

Taylor and Swifties were really mad about the misogynistic joke, they obviously didn’t think that was funny. Fans even went on Rotten Tomatoes to down rate the TV series to boycott the show.

It’s funny how the Netflix series threw out a joke like that when Taylor Swift is actually still in a long-term relationship with boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. In light of International Women’s Day, Netflix better shape up and apologize to Taylor Swift and address this issue.

There are still no replies from the streaming platform giant, but honestly it’s 2021, what are you doing playing with misogynistic jokes?
