Studies Show Men Should Masturbate 21 Times a Month
Have you ever heard the term “Your Life is in Your Hands”? Well it literally is, after studies has indicated that ‘beating your meat’ frequently (21 times or more a month) can significantly reduce your chances of developing prostate cancer by almost 33%.
Male masturbation has long been the butt of everyone’s jokes and even the media has a key role in taking the mickey out of masturbation, but let’s get real for a moment here. According to cancer.net, individuals that has developed prostate cancer has only a measly survival rate of 30%. On top of that, it is estimated that 34,130 deaths caused by prostate cancer will occur in this year alone.
Dr. Ian Kerner, PhD, who is a psychotherapist and sexuality counselor in New York City believes that ejaculation can help cleanse your prostate of all the harmful toxins and bacteria which could otherwise increase your risk of developing prostate cancer.
That said, of course masturbation isn’t the only way to ejaculate as sexual intercourse also can help you ejaculate, though there isn’t a significant difference between the two when it comes to clearing out the prostate, said Dr. Kerner.
Now reducing your risk of prostate cancer isn’t the only benefit of masturbating of course. Have you ever felt absolutely stressed and depressed? Well ‘blowing your own horn’ is a sure fine way to de-toxify your mind too. According to Dr. Kerner, “masturbating comes with a whole slew of benefits, such as giving a dude the chance to experience pleasure and relaxation. It’s an opportunity to engage in self-care.”
When its all said and done, ‘wrestling the weasel’ is not a guaranteed method to completely eliminate the risk of prostate cancer but it certainly helps a fair bit. So the next time you have an ‘itch to scratch’, go for it… not that it would take much persuasion for most guys to do it anyway.
