Sony Built A $2,500 Smartphone For Creators And Broadcasters
Sony revealed its brand new Xperia Pro, a pro model that is geared towards video working professionals. We can expect good features regarding the camera, but it would cost a hefty price of $2,500.
Be warned, the Xperia Pro isn’t something you would want to buy just for the sake of having a phone unless you got room to spend. The Xperia Pro is equipped with a mmWave 5G connection to stream events or quickly send out files to clients.
Sony expressed its need for usability, which they made available as a wired, external 4K HDMI monitor and as a mobile hotspot to push a live video feed directly to their platform of choice. Apart from its network performance, it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery. A triple camera setup with no slouch, three 12-megapixel sensors around back, tuned to shoot at the focal equivalents of 16, 24, and 70mm, all of which are assisted by Zeiss’s T* lens coating, optical image stabilization, and phase detection autofocus.
The best news, Xperia’s cameras can be set to shoot 20fps bursts with continuous autofocus.
