Say Goodbye To Apple’s iMac Pro

It is out with the old and in with the new at Apple. The tech company announced on Saturday that it will no longer be producing the 27-inch iMac Pro, which was once deemed as “the most powerful Mac ever” when it was released in 2017.

This is reportedly to make way for the release of new iMac models later this year. It is rumoured that Apple will be launching two versions – codenamed J456 and J457, to replace the current 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac models.

The new iMac design is said to feature a slimmer black border around the screen and will resemble the appearance of Apple’s Pro Display XDR monitor.

For now, the iMac Pro is still available for purchase on Apple’s website at $4,999 (RM20,855). But once the existing inventory runs out, it will be the end of the road for the computer.
