Rapper DMX On Life Support After Suffering Heart Attack

Legendary American rapper DMX, also known as Earl Simmons, is currently fighting for his life in a hospital after he suffered a heart attack on Friday evening at his home in White Plains, New York.

The news was confirmed by DMX’s longtime attorney Murray Richman, who has known the 50-year-old rapper and actor for half his life.

Since he was rushed to the hospital, DMX remains on a ventilator and is currently on life support. Richman added that he did not know what may have caused the heart attack in the first place.

Meanwhile, the rapper’s family released a statement saying, “We ask that you please keep Earl/DMX and us in your thoughts, wishes, and prayers as well as respect our privacy as we face these challenges.”

Many celebrities like Missy Elliot, Chance the Rapper, and Snoop Dogg have taken to social media to offer their prayers and show support for DMX and his family. A video on Twitter also shows fans crowding outside DMX’s hospital playing his music and cheering him on.
