Quarantine Shortened To 10 Days For Foreigners

As of 14 December, the new quarantine rule for foreigners will be shortened from 14 days to 10 days in Malaysia. This new decision has been made after reviews and changes made by other countries in the respective quarantine period. Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also mentioned that this same rule also applies to those in close contact to someone who tested positive for Covid-19.

Other countries like the UK, Belgium, and Germany had already reduced their quarantine period from 14 days to 10 days, while France has reduced self-isolation to 7 days since September.
