Prince Charles And Princess Diana’s 40-Yr-Old Wedding Cake Is Being Auctioned Off At RM2,393
Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Charles and Princess Diana were the talk of the town, especially with their iconic wedding. Even after the royal family’s nasty side was revealed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, there are still many loyal fans of the royals. These fans are taking note of recent news of a slice of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding cake that has been kept for almost 40 years will be auctioned off.
What’s special about the cake is the royal symbol that was decorated in blue, gold, red, and silver, which has been preserved for almost 4 decades. The iconic sliced cake was given to a palace worker in Clarence House named Moyra Smith as a gift of appreciation for her hard work on preparing the wedding back in 1981. The cake was then given away to a collector back in 2008 by Moyra’s family, which is expected to be auctioned off at RM2,393.
In an obvious note, health experts advised buyers not to consume the cake as it has been kept for 4 decades.
