Onitsuka Tiger Debuts At Milan Fashion Week With A Himalayan-Inspired Collection

For the past few years, Japanese label Onitsuka Tiger has been actively featuring Italian elements in its designs. And its latest collection with Italian designer Andrea Pompilio and Japanese textile designer Toyoki Adachi pretty much embodies the brand’s “East Meets West” philosophy perfectly.

The Fall/Winter 2021 Collection titled “Unfashionshow” debuted at Milan Fashion Week last month for the first time after years of presenting at Tokyo Fashion Week. The collection features minimalist design elements with pops of orange, yellow, and blue colours inspired by the Himalayas and reminiscent of 1970s trekking.

The brand is often known for its sneakers but the latest collection is guaranteed to change your mind with its effortlessly luxurious range of trousers, down jackets, tracksuits and of course, sneakers (but with a fluffy twist).

The pieces also feature handcrafted details and fashionable yet practical materials like nylon, radzimir and fleece to highlight the collection’s message of dressing stylish with comfort even in cold weather.
