Netizens Who Couldn’t Sign Up For The AZ Vaccine Yesterday Suddenly Received Vaccination Appoi

Yesterday (26/5), Malaysians were flooding the booking system for the Astrazeneca (AZ) vaccine application causing the poorly coded website to crash and caused frustrations across netizens living in Selangor, KL, Penang, Johor, and Sarawak. I’m sure you also tried booking but kept getting stuck at the State selection part, because SAME.

A whole bunch of other people who manage to select their states also went through another set of problems, clicking on every available slot but receiving a “Tempahan untuk tarikh dan tempat you dipilih sudah penuh”. I am also sure you probably tried every date and received the same message over and over, questioning how did they already fill out all the spots.

Well, a couple of very fortunate people did not manage to sign up for their vaccination slots, but woke up to a message confirming their booking! According to The Edge Markets, at least 6 applications has gone through even though they “failed” to do so yesterday. So, please check your messages in your inbox, you may be another lucky person who magically gotten a spot for the AZ vaccine.

Apparently, The Edge Markets contacted the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Technology on this matter, and a spokesperson confirms that there will be briefing by YB Khairy Jamaluddin later today on the AZ 2.0 booking. Let’s sit tight and see what YB KJ says about these randomly booked appointments, but as of now it is encouraged by hotline helpers from the “Vaksin Hotline” to stick to the dates given if you want it.

Do you know anyone who was that lucky to get the surprise message confirming their booking?
