Netflix Reveals Money Heist Final Season’s September Release Date
The long wait is almost over! I know we’ve been seeing teaser posters on social media about Money Heist’s final season for the longest time, but Netflix finally releases the trailer that reveals the two part final season for our favourite Spanish crime drama! The fourth season of Money Heist was released last year in April, and got renewed for the fifth and final season at the end of July 2020.
So, when can we expect to stream La Casa Del Papel on Netflix? The date announcement video was pretty dramatic, at the end of the trailer it was revealed that Volume 1 of Season 5 will be released on 3 September 2021 while Volume 2 will be closely following behind on 3 December.
A couple of familiar faces will be returning to screens, including Professor, Tokyo, Lisbon, Rio, Denver, Stockholm, Helsinki, Arturo (ew), while having new additions join the final season’s cast are Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Sense8) and Patrick Criado.
We were all left on a cliffhanger in Season 4 as the red jumpsuit group freed Raquel/ Lisbon from jail. The new trailer suggests that the stakes will be as high as it has ever been for the Money Heist crew, and is seeking revenge for the death of their crewmate, Nairobi. Knowing Netflix, splitting the final season into 2 parts will definitely mean more cliffhangers before we get to find out the fate of our favourite characters.
What do you think is going to happen in the final season of Money Heist?
