Naturals By Watsons Launches ‘Naturals Love Animals’ Campaign In Collaboration With Zoo Negara

Naturals by Watsons is launching a corporate social responsibility campaign, ‘Naturals Love Animals’ and collaborating with Zoo Negara for this cause. This initiative is to foster a good relationship with Zoo Negara while helping them to save the animals.

You can help by purchasing Naturals by Watsons Hero of the Month products, with every product bought RM1 will be donated to Zoo Negara. On top of that, Watsons’ members will enjoy a 10% discount for Zoo Negara ticket prices throughout the year when they flash their membership card at the ticketing counters. For every purchase of the Naturals by Watsons Gift paper bag, proceeds will also be donated to Zoo Negara (PWP price only RM1).

That’s not all you can help with, customers can participate in the Wildlife Sponsorship Programme, a fund-raising effort made through Naturals by Watsons to sponsor the animal program at Zoo Negara. Watsons will be sponsoring the meals and maintenance fees of a Milky Stork and Jessy, the Malayan Tapir for an entire year. Both animals can be found at the Bird Aviary and Bear Complex exhibits.

“In the past year, Malaysia was struck with Covid-19 pandemic, which put a stop to nearly all activities and forcing Zoo Negara to suffer severe financial constraints due to the closure. To make matters worse, animals at the zoo must fight to survive due to the lack of food and medicine. Zoo Negara is one of the many attractions where visitors comprise not only locals but visitors from other countries as well. Watsons Malaysia wants to lend a helping hand by sponsoring a Milky Stork and Malayan Tapir for the entire year. Together with our own brand Natural by Watsons, hope that the initiative that we have taken will also help Zoo Negara and encourage people out there to visit and to play their part in saving the animals lives while complying with SOPs that has been set by the government,” said Caryn Loh, Managing Director of Watsons Malaysia.

Customers will be entitled to an additional 10% off on top of the normal price when refilling their Naturals by Watsons product range at selected stores. Additionally, Naturals by Watsons is also releasing 12 new products in its range as part of the brand product refresh campaign by captivating a harmony with nature approach.
