Nando's Malaysia Is Not Closing Down, Just Selling Off Old Crockery For A Makeover
Netizens were shook when they saw Nando's Malaysia posted a "It's time to say goodbye" post on their social media pages. Don't panic, our favourite Peri-Peri chicken restaurant won't be closing down any of their outlets!
The farewell post was meant to bid farewell to their old crockery as its outlets will undergo a makeover for a more modern look. According to Nando's Malaysia's official website, the new and more colourful crockery is designed by young South African artists.
As for the old crockery, they will be selling them off to the public for RM2 a piece, and all proceeds will be going to a local NGO called The Lost Food Project. The restaurants will have the old plates and bowls displayed in front of the shops from today onwards, and is limited to only 8 pieces per person.
If you'd like to preserve your memories of having Peri-Peri chicken on the old Nando's plates and bowls, you can get them at selected Nando's outlets!
