MySejahtera App Updates Let Users Buy Covid-19 Self-Test Kits, Make Emergency Calls & More

Here’s your reminder to update your MySejahtera app because three new features have just been added to the app to help users with securing Covid-19 self-test kits, emergency help as well as information to health facilities. Simply update your app, then close and reopen the app after update to enjoy these new features!

Dear users, we have updated the mobile app with enhanced features earlier this morning. Please update your app to the latest version. Close and reopen the app after update and you will be able to experience the latest features. Thank you — MySejahtera (@my_sejahtera) July 30, 2021

The first update is accessible via the “Covid-19 Self Test” icon on MySejahtera’s homepage. The feature will lead users to three different types of self-test kits, which users can choose to purchase online via a healthcare e-commerce platform. Users can also access the icon to update their test results afterwards.

Among the available self-testing kits are the Salixium Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kit (RM39.90), Gmate Covid-19 AG Salive for Home Use (RM39.90), and JusChek Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test (RM29), all of which have been approved by the Ministry of Health for screening purposes.

The second update is an “Emergency” icon which prompts users to make a 999 call. Lastly, the “Health Facilities” icon features a map view of various health screening facilities that are located near the user’s location.
