MAS Is Selling Specially Handcrafted Creations Made By Employees

Now here’s another way for you to support local businesses – Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has launched MHartisans, an avenue for its employees to create, produce and sell their own range of handcrafted items via the airline’s flagship e-retail store, Temptations.

MHartisans was created as a way to encourage the employee’s entrepreneurial spirit by enabling them to transform their hobbies and passion into income-generating projects during this challenging time for the aviation industry.

In celebration of the launch of MHartisans yesterday, MAS even debuted an exclusive memorabilia made by two of its talented cabin crew in celebration of the launch. These include a Kebaya Girls Sticker Set & Airplane Keychain by Agnes ‘Aggie’ Yap, a former graphic designer who joined MAS 20 years ago, and a collection of Borneo Dolls by Wesley Anak Juntan, a cabin crew with MAS since 2010.

“We believe that this new initiative is more than just an opportunity for us to support our colleagues. It also allows us to feature Malaysian-made products which embody our nation’s diverse cultures and heritage,” said MAS Group Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Lau Yin May.

Moreover, MAS also supports its employees by launching MHhomecooks, a special segment on YouTube that features Malaysian local favourite dishes, all cooked by the airline’s employees, so make sure you check it out to #SapotLokal.
