Marvel's Shang-Chi Was Announced To Be Released Earlier At GSC On 30 September
While most of us are trying to dodge the already released Marvel film, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" due to late releases in Malaysian cinemas, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) announced that the highly anticipated movie will be airing in their cinemas tomorrow (30 September)!
Previously, the cinema operator announced that the Marvel movie will be released in cinemas on 7 October. Movie buffs will be able to pre-book their tickets on their website from 28 September onwards before they run out.
That said, those who are eager to catch the movie will need to adhere to the SOPs implemented by the government. According to the National Security Council (MKN), those who are below the age of 17 are not permitted to enter movie theatres while of course, only those who have completed their vaccination and do not have a body temperature higher than 37.5 degree Celcius or "high risk" status on their MySejahtera app.
Cinemas are also capped at 50% capacity and sanitisation works need to be done at least 3 times a day. Audiences will need to follow the 1-meter social distancing in between seats while having a mask on at all times. MKN also added that the audience is not allowed to leave the theatre except for emergency, to used the toilet, or to seek help from staff.
