Malaysian Government Looking Into Relaxing Movement Restrictions For Fully Vaccinated People
Not sure if this is good news or bad news, but the Malaysian government may be looking into loosening the movement restrictions for those who are fully vaccinated. Apparently, this will include allowing people to travel or dine-in at restaurants. Netizens are pretty worried about the announcement, especially after hitting an all-time high of 11.6k cases yesterday.
At a press conference of the Prihatin food basket programme, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin encouraged people to stay confident and patient as the vaccination programme is the “light at the end of the tunnel” to battle against Covid-19. “I’ve asked for relaxation to be considered for those who have received two vaccine doses,” he said.
The national recovery plan is said to take effect until the end of 2021, hopefully we can gradually return to our normal lives again.
What do you think about relaxing the movement control now? Will this worsen our cases or improve it?
