Malaysian Government Considering To Open Borders To Other Countries

Tourism Minister, Nancy Shukri said that she received many requests from those in the local tourism industry to consider opening borders to other countries to keep the industry afloat. Malaysian government is currently working at negotiating with these Green Zone countries. Countries that are identified as Green Zones like Singapore, Brunei, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and New Zealand are in the list!

We don’t know if this is a good idea since there are recent spikes in Covid-19 cases across a few states. Do you think this is a good move?
