Korean Actor Park Seo-Joon Confirmed Joining Marvel Universe’s ‘Captain Marvel’ Se
After speculations since June, Marvel finally confirmed that Korean actor Park Seo-Joon will be joining the cast for ‘The Marvels’, which is the sequel to “Captain Marvel”. According to IMDB’s official ‘The Marvels’ page, Park’s name has been added to the list of cast alongside Brie Larson, Zawe Ashton, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani.
Park’s role has yet to be disclosed yet, but fans are speculating that he will be playing the role of Korean-American teenage hero, Amadeus Cho, who is also known as Brawn. Filming for ‘The Marvel’ will be expected to start in 2021, while the movie is set to release in 2023. Park is currently filming in South Korea for an upcoming disaster-thriller movie, ‘Concrete Utopia’, but he will be flying to the U.S. after.
The Korean actor is best known for Korean TV dramas, ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’ and ‘Itaewon Class’. He now joins Claudia Kim and Ma Dong Suk as the third Korean actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
