Khairy: Walk-In Vaccinations In The Klang Valley Available From 2 August Till 22 August

According to Khairy Jamaluddin, the walk-in vaccinations will officially begin today (2 August) till 22 August. But the walk-ins come in different slots, so do keep an eye on the dates that allow you to walk-in at specific PPVs!

Malaysian citizens aged 40 and above can begin walk-in vaccinations from 2 to 4 August, while non-Malaysians within the said age range can go from 9 to 11 August. Meanwhile, walk-in vaccinations will be available for Malaysians aged 18 and above from 5 to 22 August and 12 to 22 August for non-Malaysians within the said age range.

That said, not all PPVs will accept walk-in vaccinations, this includes KLCC HCO F, G, H, Bangi Avenue Convention Centre, Movenpick Sepang & Convention Centre, Shah Alam IDCC, Hotel Wyndham, Dewan TAR Sabak Bernam, and Dewan Komuniti Serendah. As for non-Malaysians, the only PPV available for walk-in vaccinations is Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

Do note that all walk-ins will only be available starting 2pm, which will be a first-come-first serve basis. However, if the vaccines are finished on the day you queued up for walk-in vaccinations, you will have priority on the standby list the next day.

Khairy added that those who have already gotten their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine should wait for their second dose appointment instead of walking in. Walk-in vaccinations will only be catered to those who have not received an appointment yet, those who have previously cancelled their vaccination appointment, and those who have yet to register.

Lastly, when going for your walk-in vaccination, do remember to bring a proof of address in the Klang Valley, like your IC, driver’s license, or employment card. Those with comorbidities are urged to bring a doctor’s letter or supporting documents with their health condition stated.
