K-Pop Group BIGBANG Announces Comeback And T.O.P's Departure From YG Entertainment
It's been a while since we've heard any news from one of the most popular second generation K-pop boy group, BIGBANG. YG Entertainment finally decided to announce a comeback for the group!
Early today (7 February), YG Entertainment announced in a press release: "BIGBANG will be releasing a new song this spring. We have finished the recording of the song and are about to film the music video. We have also respected T.O.P’s opinion that he wanted to expand his personal activities aside from his promotions with BIGBANG, and he also discussed it with the other members, who understood. If the conditions are right, T.O.P will always be able to participate in BIGBANG’s promotions."
Yes, you read that right. Lead rapper of BIGBANG, Choi Seung-hyun, also known as T.O.P has officially left YG Entertainment. However, the entertainment agency said that T.O.P will still be included in BIGBANG promotions and activities on top of his own personal projects.
BIGBANG's spring comeback will be the group's first song in 4 years after "Flower Road", on top of the departure of former member Seungri. Are you excited for their comeback?
