Jennifer Aniston And David Schwimmer Had A Crush On Each Other When Filming ‘Friends’

It’s been 17 years since popular American TV show Friends ended but its impact on popular culture did not falter one bit. Throughout the show, fans were hooked on Ross and Rachel’s will-they-won’t-they relationship and guess what? Apparently, the actors for both characters shared the same dynamic in real life too!

In HBO’s Friends: The Reunion on Thursday, David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, who played Ross and Rachel respectively, revealed that they actually had real feelings for each other, but they were always dating other people and never acted on their feelings – ohhh noooo!

Schwimmer even said that he and Aniston would cuddle on the couch and fall asleep together during rehearsal breaks, and he would wonder how nobody knew they were crushing on each other. To which everyone in the cast replied that they definitely knew.

That’s not all, Aniston also admitted that she and Schwimmer even discussed about whether their first kiss would be in character.

“Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television. Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop. We just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel,” said Aniston.

Awww, but as much as fans wished they were endgame, I think we can all agree that Schwimmer and Aniston’s chemistry on screen was perfect just the way it was.
