Here Are Ways To Help Abandoned Newborn Babies During MCO

With our country in an endless loop of lockdowns, one of the most heartbreaking issues being uncovered is an increase of newborn babies being abandoned in hospitals. Even with the ongoing movements like the white flag, black flag, and red flag, nobody was initiating anything for abandoned babies, until Kembara Kitchen stepped up and started a campaign #KembaraBabyAid.

Kembara Kitchen took the matter to their Instagram post, letting people know that hospitals are running out of supplies for the babies like diapers, formula milk, and baby wipes. The campaign is aims to collect S sized diapers for the abandoned babies (doctors recommend brands like Huggies, Pet Pet, and Drypers), formula milk for 0-12 months, and baby wipes.

The programme will see the products to be given to hospitals for the babies, and also given to mothers in need with an estimate of 3 months worth of formula milk, diapers, and baby wipes. That said, the supplies will be sent to the hospitals Social Welfare Department and the Kembara team will not directly interact with the mothers and babies.

If you’re interested in helping out, you can drop off the said items at Kemabara Community Care Centre at “7 Jalan Sungai Burung W32/W, Bukit Rimau, 40460 Shah Alam”, or contribute by making monetary donations:
