Grab Will Be Reducing Fees Charged To Merchant Partners Nationwide
Grab Malaysia revealed that due to MCO 2.0, the ride-hailing and food delivery company will be reducing the commission fees for merchant partners for a whole month to help customers and partners cope. Unfortunately, food vendors and restaurants have lost their dine-in customers, making it hard for small and local businesses to get by.
The company mentioned that up to 5% of commission fees will be waived off for all Food and Mart merchants nationwide from 13 January to 10 February. On top of that, all costs for self pick-up orders made through the Grab app will be absorbed by Grab! They will temporarily reduce the commission fees to 0% if customers choose to collect the orders themselves.
Another good news that Grab shared, the company will be bringing back the ‘Local Heroes’ campaign that will provide free visibility, awareness, and promotions across various marketing and digital channels to support small and local businesses! Customers will also be enjoying delivery fees as low as 50 cents and paying a single delivery fee while ordering from multiple stalls and food courts!
