Grab Launches Online Shop To Support Small Food Businesses
When the pandemic had hit us all unexpectedly last year, Grab was probably one of the few businesses that was not only unaffected by the lockdown, but rather, was thriving because of it. And now a year later, Grab has decided to launch a Grab Online Shop to help small business owners set up their own online business platform.
As part of Grab’s #TechUntukSemua campaign to help merchant-partners and small businesses, the Grab Online Shop provides sellers with an online shop, which they can customise with their own branding to engage with customers more personally.
The Grab Online Shop is also integrated with GrabPay and GrabRewards, and all deliveries will be fulfilled by Grab’s Delivery-Partners. While the platform does come with a 10% service fee, Grab has announced that small business owners with less than RM30,000 of monthly sales will get to enjoy 0% service fee until the end of 2021.

On top of that, Grab will also be running a GrabFood Small Business Week promotion every month to highlight small businesses and increase their sales on the platform. The campaign will kickstart with a free delivery promotion starting May 25, so watch out for that!
