Drive-Thru Vaccination Centre For People With Disabilities To Open In Ara Damansara Soon

Now here’s something that will hopefully speed up the rate of vaccination in our country, The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced that starting next week, there will be a drive-through vaccination centre in Ara Damansara that caters to people with disabilities.

The vaccination centre that’s located at the Sime Darby Plantations headquarters in Ara Damansara, Selangor will not only cater to people with disabilities, but their carers who are driving them to the centres can also get vaccinated there if they wish to.

The centre will be providing vaccination to people with disabilities who are residing in the Klang Valley, and are aged 18 and above. And don’t worry because the programme will cater to all people with disabilities, even if they weren’t registered under the Social Welfare Department (JKM).

The programme, which is an initiative between the OKU Central non-governmental organisation and the MoH, is said to kickstart at the end of next week. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Science Technology and Information are also expected to make an official announcement about this initiative very soon.
