Dior Announces Partnership With Rapper Travis Scott To Design Summer 2022 Men’s Collection
French fashion house, Dior finally makes a move to announce a partnership between its artistic director, Kim Jones and American rapper, Travis Scott! Jones has been referred to as “the king of collaborations”, however this is the first time Dior turns to the world of music for a collaboration.
Travis Scott will be designing Dior’s summer 2022 men’s collection with Kim Jones, who has partnered with many renowned artists like Kaws, Daniel Arsham, and Raymond Pettibon. On top of that, Jones was actually a key figure in bringing together luxury and streetwear through collaborations with Converse and Jordan Brand that created sneakers that were sold for the price of gold!
Meanwhile, Travis Scott doesn’t lose out as an influential musician, he recently launched the Cactus Jack Foundation which aims at empowering youth through education and creative resources. An education program that dedicated entirely towards fashion which was created in partnership with the Parsons School of Design.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the physical products will be unveiled.
