Bonus Track ‘it’s time to go’ On Taylor Swift’s ‘evermore’ Album Hints Why S

Where them #Swifties at? This one’s for us.

Karlie and Taylor had been friends ever since she first performed on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. They baked cookies, partied, went to Coachella, and even had a Vogue shoot together.  It was a friendship made of dreams and pure sunshine… until it wasn’t.

Even though Karlie has mentioned that they were still friends in the past few years, the suspicion increased when there was no sight of Taylor at Karlie’s wedding

Perhaps the final blow solidified when Karlie was seen on a trip with her manager Scooter Braun and a few others. We’re sure you’ve heard the story of Scott Borchetta selling her life’s worth of masters to Scooter Braun but let’s not open that can of worms again.

Anyway, rumour started swirling again when Taylor released her bonus track ‘it’s time to go’ where she sings the lines:

“When the words of a sister, come back in whispers,

That prove she was not in fact what she seemed,

Not a twin from your dreams, she’s a crook who was caught.”

That seems to be about a falling out with a friend (*coughs*, Karlie) and rumour has it that their friendship faded into dust when Taylor found out that she had been telling Scooter things about her career, hence “she’s a crook who was caught”.  Yikes.

Taylor Swift, however, attempted to put the rumours to rest, offering a vague explanation about the new songs on Instagram.

“The evermore deluxe album with 2 bonus tracks ‘right where you left me’ and ‘it’s time to go’ is now available!” she wrote. “The first is a song about a girl who stayed forever in the exact spot where her heart was broken, completely frozen in time. ‘it’s time to go’ is about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know?” Make of that what you will…
