According to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), 63 locations will be supervised by organisers of the bazaar while 2 others which is located at Taman Tasik Permaisuri car park (next to Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium) and Jalan 4/38 A Taman Sri Sinar, Segambut (Wisma Suhati) will be supervised by DBKL.

“Visitors to Ramadan bazaars are required to comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council (MKN) such as wearing face masks, having their body temperature scanned and to check-in with the MySejahtera app.”

On the other hand, the popular Aidilfitri Bazaar that was previously operated along Jalan Raja will be resuming operation at its original location, Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR), from 17 April to 12 May. The Aidilfitri Bazaar was postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but not to worry, you’ll be able to attend it this year!

About 208 traders will operate from 10 in the morning till midnight at the bazaar, stretching from behind the Campbell complex to the Masjid India intersection. The Lorong TAR Night Market that operates every Saturday will be moved to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman throughout the Ramadan month, which is 17 & 24 April, and 1 & 18 May.

Do note that, a part of Jalan TAR from the intersections of Jalan Esfahan until Jalan Melayu, will be closed on Saturdays to make way for the night market.

Remember to follow the SOPs while visiting the night markets and Ramadan bazaars this month, as individuals and organisers will be issued fines up to a maximum of RM10,000 and RM50,000 respectively.
