3-Year-Old Girl Requests For Mufasa’s Death Scene In Lion King As Her Cake And The Reason Is W
If you grew up watching the original Lion King and not the live-action version, you’d definitely remember the heart-wrenching scene where young Simba discovers that his father, Mufasa died after being sabotaged by Uncle Scar. I don’t know about you, but that scene really “scarred” me as a child.
Meanwhile, a 3-year-old girl, Leona requested her mother to get her a cake that depicts that exact morbid scene for her birthday! My first thought was “that’s pretty dark”. However, Leona actually had a more wholesome reasoning to why she requested Mufasa’s death scene as her birthday cake: “Everyone will be too sad to eat the cake, and it will all be for me.” -Aww!

The interesting cake was designed by Thirsty Whale Bakery, featuring Mufasa lying at the bottom of the cliff with a heartbroken Simba looking down at him from the top and a “Leona Turns 3” wording in red next to Mufasa’s dead body.
Initially, Leona’s mother said she was too embarrassed to call the bakery to ask for the special request, so she emailed them and said “the worst they can say is no.” The bakery did not just agree to the request, they even offered her different 3D options for the design which left Leona overjoyed and excited.
My niece turned 3 today!! She asked for a Lion King cake but specifically the moment where Mufasa dies, because “everyone will be too sad to eat the cake and it will be all for me.” pic.twitter.com/UOatqCUSj0 — Casey Feigh (@caseyfeigh) May 29, 2021
Leona’s uncle, comedian Casey Feigh posted pictures of Leona and her birthday cake on Twitter, and gotten hundreds of likes and comments about her questionable cake request. However, I’ve got to say she’s one smart kid!
