17-year-old Influencer Quits School After Making RM58,000 A Day On Social Media
Alicia Breuer is just 17 years old but she is already making more money than her parents (and so many of us), earning £10,000 (RM58,450) a day, all thanks to TikTok!
Like most teenagers, Breuer, who lives in Buckinghamshire, England first started TikTok because she was bored during UK’s first Covid-19 lockdown in June last year. She quickly became viral after lip-syncing to Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’.
cheers to all my money going down the drain 🥂 #fyp
And now less than a year later, she already has over 700,000 followers on TikTok and 200,000 on Instagram. Thanks to her growing social media presence, Breuer is able to make money by promoting products of various fashion brands on her platforms.

And shortly after monetising her platform, the teenager was then approached by a leading digital talent manager, who helped her grow her career even more.
Since she was able to gain steady income these past few months, Breuer has made the bold decision to ditch her plans to pursue a psychology degree and instead, focus on her career as a content creator.
Speaking on her decision to drop out of university, Breuer explains “If I’m now able to make £10,000 some days, I’m going to focus on my videos – there’s no point going to university.”
Luckily, Breuer’s family and friends are supportive of her plan, especially her mother who still advises her to finish her school work, just like all mothers would.
